'Tis time to pay Caesar. Oh wait, he's paying me!

Good Friday to you!
Have you all been good boys & girls, and filed your taxes already? I just did.
Lincoln is excited, but he's hiding his emotion here. He's not 'big' on being expressive.
Man! That is a crappy picture! Praxis! iPhone quality is only good on certain occasions.
*sigh*

You guys? I start school MONDAY. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I mean ... yay? *shakes in the corner* I'm nervous. Not only am I going to school.... but(emphatic pause).. I'm going to school. Does that make sense? OkayOkay lemme e'splain. I'm nervous. I hate school. I'm going back voluntarily. Ayy.
Geez, that wasn't so hard was it?

Well, my week was fairly uneventful, I've been preparing for the 28th(1st day of school) for about 2 weeks now. First it was "exciting, cause I get to sleep in for a week before!", then it was... "this is happening!" and now it's just... "[dread] UGH I'm gonna have homework and projects to do."
 Ew, school, how dare you lure me!
:) Just kidding, I'm ready to start something new and to have a little "college" notch in my belt of various things I happen to be interested/dabbling in.
Ok now to enjoy my last weekend before I mentally throw myself back to 11th grade(including the black emo bangs)...I'm going out of town.

Dove face! You came back :] So glad. Thanks for joining me on my Friday ritual of CELEBRATING the end of yet another speedy-week! Tell me about your week, was it terrible? Was it memorable in any way?

I have something to tell you. (Shh!!) I - officially - am - a - college - student.
WHOA. I know. Calm down. Put that Silly String away! :) But whip out that Long Island Iced Tea!! I could use a relaxer. This week has been HECTIC and great. Maddening and excitingly happy. Just ready for it to balance out again(hello, WEEKEND!) and be back to work again Monday morning... PART. TIME. Ya heard!! Part time!!!

I CAN'T WAIT! The first classes I'm taking are 'Intro to Dreamweaver' and 'Intro to Systems Concepts'. I'm done talking about me. Here's a little something I wrote during a downpour that kept my mind flooded(ya like that pun?) full of things I had been feeling, that the rain helped release. OH! And Seattle is really under a Tsunami Watch right now. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? Crazy. Not nearly as serious as the one for Japan, today. :( Oh, keep them in your prayers, please. So scary!! Pick your chin up and get ready(put on your weekend pants!) to responsibly celebrate relaxation. :) Have a safe couple days. xoxoxo!!

I was at Azteca(@$$teca??) this last Friday, and this was the 
bathroom stall-door decoration. Cute? I think so.

This is just too funny, in an unrealistic-take-it-with-a-grain-of-salt type way...
Praxis and I have an ongoing joke of ways to get out of the "friend-zone"... 
A laugh was shared.

Also, I've been sick this week, since last Wednesday(thank you, co-worker)... and this is what I saved from an iced-tea-run to gauge my constant massive water-intake. This is a 'venti' size, I think that means 22 oz? 26? I need to be drinking about 6 of these a day... (that equals a lot of potty trips...)
Anywho. One last thing to make you "aww" is this...
Awwww... Tiny pinecone. And my hands are small anyway- so that says something!

I don't believe you!

Friday has rolled around YET again. *shock & awe*

All this week, it's been about 3 different seasons.
Summer is the only one missing... of course -_-

It's been
1.) Sunny & Freezing(fall-like),
2.) Snowy(snow that falls as snow, and hits like rain), and disgustingly muddy everywhere
3.) Rainy & windy(sarcasm alert: MY FAVORITE!)

So imagine my delight when I leave my house one BRIGHT & freezing morning for 
work... and I look up to see this:  
Yeah, beautiful! (Thanks iPhone!)
Then I look down, to step off the porch and see this:
Uhh, what? Snow? I don't believe it, so I'll just pretend I didn't see that.
After all, there's no snow anywhere else....

See? I don't believe it. And YES these really were all taken in the same 3 minute span.
Farmin' Washington.

Also, have you been introduced to Lincoln?
He's pretty fun. He's pretty impressive, actually. He's a gymnastics pro and an amateur in Tae Kawndo.
And he speaks Latvian.

Last week, it was time for him to get a bath. Ahem.
He was very hurt by this, and let it show. So sad!

When Lincoln emerged from the cleansing tho, he has passed the 'hurt' stage, and moved onto 'acceptance.'
He didn't fight the dryer, but I could tell that all he wanted, is for the process to be over with 
so we could snuggle again.
Look at that forlorn face :(

Coming out fluffier than EVER, and delightfully cuddly, I decided it would be a LONG time before I put him thru the torture chamber again. After all, he's only the best little-bear a woman could ask for!

He's embarrassed by my crazy-hair.
That's freshly blow-dried, WHAAAAAATTTTT!!!! :)
That's a sign of a good parent tho; the ability to embarrass your children at any given moment.

The Weekend Re-cap

Wow. This weekend! Blew by, like a gust through my breezeway(o_O), but it was productive!

Firstly, Friday I saw a sight I'll probably never witness again. Too funny, NOT to get a picture(or two) this. Get a load of that!! That's aluminum foil, underneath Saran-Wrap. That would be a pain to get off, I'm sure. Severely unfortunate.

Secondly, Target(where I snapped the aluminum car) was having a sale on a few accordion file folders, so ... being tax-season and all, I'll have all my junk out to go thru anyway right? Right. So I bought a fresh one, and consolidated all my old papers into the new arrangement. Voila!
Cute, huh? :)
Hello, taupe. You look mighty fine.
HOORAY for organizing.
Then I did massive piles of laundry. Then I FOLDED massive piles of laundry. Then I changed my sheets. YESSSSSS. Is there nothing better!?
Than FRESH sheets?!
Yeah, that's 3 pillows for 1 me.
ONE new FIRM pillow, that I also got at Target last Tuesday(?), has significantly changed my sleep quality, tho- I cannot rave about my good sleep enough. It's not even an expensive one, just like $9 or something. Change your life dramatically, shop the Target brand pillows ;)

And my dog Maverick winked at me.

Spoiled rotten dog, on the leather chair. I told my parents that they have absolutely ruined him! haha
But how precious is he? :) love.

One more thing before I go..... I've been dabbling with Watercolor(watchoutNOWW!!)

iPhone adventures!!

You all know I switched to the dark side by now... right?


I mean, they've had hot fresh cookies, for a few years now, so I decided it would be worth my while.

Anywho... my iPhone has been serving me rather well. I HIGHLY enjoy(those of you who know me personally can attest to this) the organization of it.
If I pull an App button over another App button: MAGIC! A new folder is birthed into this world, and conveniently labeled an appropriate name(yes, all by itself!) pertaining to the contents, and THEN! AND THEN....you can rename it, if you so wish. *swoon*

I know. I was impressed too.
The next trick I will be discussing, is the cool photo-editing Apps I've stumbled onto. All you photo-pro's are already familiar with Photoshop Express(free!) and for you Hipsters, Instagram(free!). Of either sort, I haven't wasted any copious amounts of my (valueable?) time searching thru tons of Apps and eating up my precious 16Gigs(14G when you actually receive it, I learned! D=) with things that I won't get use out of.
Hey, no one ever said I wasn't practical ;)


I  was recently introduced to a website called picnik.com where you edit your own photos for FREE. Wow- it's simple AND it's effective, and DUDE it's still cheap even if you do want to use all their "premium" editing tools. I might make the investment someday, but I just don't need it enough for now. Also, I made my web banner with it ;) You're welcome.

The other thing I really like is the instant weather report. Yeah, I'm old. I've also got Pandora at my disposal, and lastly and most high-tech-ish-ly ... Facetime. We're talking video phone calls, people. Need I say more?

Gym'n-It-Cricket! PART 1

Scene: bored at the gym(keep reading) jogging monotonously, staring out the ceiling-height windows onto a dark city, with a few sparks of life speeding around the freeways in the distance. Ok, I guess I'll keep my focus closer so I don't trip(again) and fall to my treadmill-conveyor-belt-induced-burn-on-the-face-death.

Me to myself(use your typical 'idiot' voice): "Hmm, there is a TV... I think I will let my mind wander, and get distracted by whatever's there." I am baffled by the crap TV show, 'Jersey Shore' that someone had left on. BAFFLED, guys.

Anyone else agree with me? I mean... they are obviously putting on a nice dramatic 'reality-tv" scharade for VH1's amusement, but really? Pure gross. Anyway, it got me to thinking of what kinds of other schmucks(hey I'm vividly aware that I'm the biggest schmuck in there) I am 'gym-ing it' with. I looked around to find 'Jersey Shore' type-esque gals, and didn't have to look long(I'd say far, but the gym is small). Granted this girl already had the natural tan down, but she broke my #1 rule of life... Leggings do NOT double as pants. Even if your legs are perfect. Shhh, there's no jealousy here, you're imagining that. YES, YOU ARE.

Found another Ginger. Now she's actually a human being, and by that I mean she acknowledges other people's presence. She usually waves at me when we catch glances at each other(or maybe it's just that we share a hair color??) across the gym-fodder, or if we bump into each other in the bathroom. Not much else to say about her tho, cause she doesn't give off any certain stereotype, except that she works her butt off on that stair-stepper(my arch enemy). My  admiration for her continued conquering of that machine = ever growing. I just don't have "it" in me for everyday use. Moving on...

The 50-year-old-woman. You don't know her. She keeps to herself, working out quietly with -sometimes without- her husband. He's quiet too. He doesn't do much, but poor thing is already skinny. He tries to stay out of the way and let his woman do her thing, while giving her support & encouragement. Every woman's mid-life dream :)

The 60-year-old-woman. You all know her. She waves. She sweats profusely. She is there all alone, kicking elliptical derrière!! And not to mention those dumb-bells! Grandma is on FIRE! Literally, someone make her stop- I see smoke trailing off her heels!!

The All-Arms Guy(thanks to You-Know-Who-You-Are, for the idea!). He curls, he curls and then he curls some more. He uses the free weights; he uses the tricep machine; he uses the floor for his personal push-up station; and then he's on the bar for pull-ups galore. Why isn't he working on that booty?? Just sayin...

I heart Seattle. I heart ice cream.

I've mentioned this a couple times...but now I'm opening the forum. Whaddya think? Which do you like better? I like it, but I want more fake red :] Just to brighten it up a tad, since it has faded a little since the dyeing-date. ha! Dye-ing date.

I will change subjects now! WOOT! Over last weekend I went to a little place called SEATTLE. You may have heard of it? I went to this Ahhh-mazing ice cream place called Molly Moon's(which took forEVer to find, since I'm not familiar with the Capitol Hill area)...


They were "hosting" a breakfast; either A.)waffle & ice cream(BRILLIANT), or B.)oatmeal and ice cream(BRILLIANT) in honor of International Eat Ice Cream For Breakfast Day(BRILLIANT).


I think I pretty much invented this, like.... 6,789,422,734,657 years ago, but HEY if they wanna act like it's their deal, and make me a fantastic waffle so hot it deforms my plastic fork, I'm ok with it.

So then, a SWARM of joggers comes in right AFTER we have ordered, and are waiting in these floor-height kiddie-chairs, for our food to magically appear. Drinking orange juice out of paper cups- you know, like 3rd grade snack-time. Point being... well, you can imagine.

 I won't elaborate. It was all of a sudden sweaty up in there, but when our food arrived we were taken back into the anticipated-bliss-that-one-can-only-dream-of.

Two-es-Day!

I'd like to start off by announcing that my 'google reader' is quite full, and I can actually hear it, long after I've closed the tab in my browser... it's like this: 
"Hey YOU! Yeah, you with the FACE. Why do you subscribe to all these informational/great & colorful/hilarious blogs and then forget to READ them? And you complain about not having a book to fill your spare time... you should be ASHAMED."


And so I am ashamed. And so then I dig up old poems like this delight, to compensate(ha!). I am quite(shout-out to my friend, the word 'quite' that I keep using!) pleased with it, even as old as it is. And I wish so much that it wasn't so old.


But alas, I'll add that to the ever-growing wish-list I've recently began. :]

Secondly.... you all know how anti-mac/apple I am...don'tcha? Well... push comes to shove when your phone royally STINKS(or has a huge blacked out area on the touch-screen), so when Verizon announced(alright, I'll admit this was way back in July 2010 when it was still unofficial) that they were bringing the iphone to their network... I got excited. I thought "AT LAST! MY CHANCE! I can pay good money for a phone that won't rip me off 3 months from now!"
Oh so the news is that I ordered one. And I'm proud to say that I actually have a 'REP' and ordered mine BEFORE Feb 3rd YA'LL! (Don't be jealous. We're all friends, here. I could hook you up, if you gave me some chocolate ice cream... with hot fudge.)

Keep your eyes to the sky, babydoll.

Do you ever feel like you've forgotten yourself?
Do you occasionally forget things that matter to you? You forget your way, your routines, and your favorite FOOD?? Okay, maybe not that last one.
'Cause maybe you've been so focused on one thing- even unknowingly- that everything else just blurred into the background. Now you gotta clean all that crap off the walls. I feel like I forgot my motivation. 

I have things to do. It's not keeping busy that will be a problem, it's just a cloud hanging over me for a while. I just will have a hard time enjoying myself, even when I smile.

I know what I'm capable of, and I'm not fulfilling that right now.

I love my friends so much, even tho at times I take for granted at the moment, the dedication they show in return. I'm not giving up being the person that I am, I deserve a lot, just like you do. I'm just waiting for it to grow back to me, now.

Sophophobia- Fear of learning.... What a terrible thing to be informed that you have! ;) 
hahaha... oh I guess that's not so funny... but this is: Walloonphobia- Fear of the Walloons.
BTW, Walloons are French-speaking people who live in Belgium.

Dear Anonymous Commenters,

I love you. I really do.

I love the witty things you say, the way you joke on my posts because you(usually) know me personally, and you assume I'll know who you are.

But sometimes... I don't know who you are.
And sometimes I'd REALLY LIKE to know who you are, so I can be all...
"Hey friend! I'm so glad we're hanging out IRL(in-real-life) 'cause your comment on my blog the other day, totally made me 'LOL,' and I'd like to thank you in person for taking the time to read it.
