Tendy? Not-so-trendy? Indecisive.

Ok, so let me first start, by MAKING IT CLEAR to you, my feelings on something:  people who are indecisive in life DRIVE-ME-NUTS.

That aside, I would like to introduce you to some current trends that I (am troubled by and/or indecisive about ;)) was informed of recently via my email subscription to Scoutmob(LOVE)...

Here's something that's happening in my good ol' hometown of Seattle:

click the pic for more for more of their products!

THAT. Is exactly what it looks like.
A stud earring made of concrete.
By: Maple and Mauve
Is it strange that I think those might be a
little front-heavy annd/or just... HEAVY on your earlobes?
Would YOU wear them?
I like that the idea is fresh & probably recycled
(reduce-reuse-recycle-yipee!), but I just can't see
myself in them.
Hey, I wouldn't knock-it-til-I've-tried-it!

Something I love:
Click the pic for more of their unique designs!
BlissfulCASE is located in Brooklyn, New York.
Unique. Funky & creative designs.
Interchangable for those of us who like a new
visual in the palm of our hands.

And last but not least... something I will NEVER like/love/wear:

Bugs. No.
There is a reason they call them "bugs."
No, thank you, fashion designers. I'd rather not.
These different designers named/displayed can all be found
by a simple Google search, but particularly,
I was reading this article over at Fashionista.com (<3 font="">),
called: "Trendspotting: Creepy Crawlies."
That says enough, for me. Nope.
*confusion*

Here is one, that I *am* genuinely torn over:
Hint: It's above their eyes.
As the majority of you may know, I am now an Esthetician.
One of my greatest passions in this industry is making
women beautiful, by using their OWN features to
complement their unique tones, textures, shapes, sizes, etc...
For most people, heavy eyebrows don't work.
For most people in fact, their naturally-growing eyebrow
shape needs to be trimmed, and tamed, and sometimes waxed
down a size or two to achieve the "natural & clean" look.
These above, have been somewhat groomed, but mostly...
too much hair on that face. For my comfort.
But that's just MY lowly opinion.

Who cares what I think? ;)

Ohio in snapshots

Now that I have returned & the dust has settled... here are my tiny adventures.
I am officially back from Ohio, and I officially won't go
back for YEARS. I hope my family & the friends
I actually have left there, come visit me in Seattle now.
No offense, I'm just all Ohio'ed out.
My first childhood friend Rachel & I, bottom left.
We went to a big-kid's version of chuck-e-cheese's called "Scene 75" and played hard. We survived Glow-in-the-dark Mini Golf, climbed ourselves through the Laser-Frenzy, dislocated a shoulder in the Bouncy House, & danced the rest of the night away with excellent DJ'd jams til we were so thirsty,  the snow on the ground looked appealing. But not before the incredible 12 Foot Mosaic-tiled Michael Jackson caught my eye.
My grandparents have such quirks. Grandma's silly sayings crack her up so hard, she's still laughing 6 minutes later. Grandpa often takes naps with shoes on, sticking out of his blankets & off the edge of the bed. And my mom's hair does it's own thing when it senses she's not using a mirror.

And last. These are where the feelings run deep. These kids sincerely weaved themselves into my brain synapses.
I miss them like crazy.
{Clockwise from top left}
Sweet baby Aurora, just new & curious with her Disney-eyes; she stole me away. Gavin's quiet sneakiness, and sincere obedience to his parent's voice melted my pre-parent core. No one besides this kid, can make his brother Maverick laugh so hilariously.
My darling Payton... who knew a 4 year old could be so witty? She's sharper than I ever hope to be & yet loving all at once. Baby Jaxon's good manner & shocking blue eyes had me captivated the whole time. I miss all my little loves.

stories...

Let's flashback to high school...  ahh ok now & let's reminisce over 2 minute crushes... :) Don't you miss them? ...No? Me neither :]
Here's to the sentiment, though, and the THANKFULNESS that I don't struggle with this anymore...

10-19-2004

When I tell a story...
your stare is constant,
never faultering, to keep my eyes

very alive
I feel your aura
breathing into mine

will you finish
what you've begun
or let it hang empty,
like my hands?

A sample...

I listened to a song
with my whole body tuning in

I let the notes soak into my achey joints;
my bones felt lighter and my muscles
finally rested still.

Closing my eyes, the pull of
a vacuum wind moved me silently forward...
through the changes of seasons.
The icey chill of a February frost
forming on the buds of new grass in sunrise.

I saw the ocean in my mind, heard
nothing but seagulls, and crashing
effortless waves of countless fallen tears
that a dry bed had captured thousands of years ago.

The sunshine was the loudest - it
touched everything, the invisible
warmth it gave for free, was it's
own symphony.

There was a pulse too infinite to describe.
And for a minute, slowly I hear each raindrop,
each bird land, each lioness paw at the Earth in a dead run...
And I am back again driving in
the night. Safe in the confines
of my routine.

I smile because although I feel
loss, I feel love. In my
weakness, I have a strength.

I will gain all that I love,
that determined quality
is truly, me.

Friday, you should come back after you've read this thru a few times. Why? Get the feel of it, and then hear the music that inspired this, and which fits the motion.
Then tell me what ya think. Oh and my parent's Surprise Anniversary Party went swimmingly. That was the announcement from last week, you guys! Thanks to those of you, my dearest friends who helped coordinate and for all your delicious COOKING. x} It was more than enough food.

See you Friday :)
Be safe, birdies.

Making it up to you.

WOAH. I know I totally left you hanging last Friday, and I sorta apologize... but don't you think for a minute I'd leave you for too long. I was busy being cool and stuff... you know, having things to do, and making messes to clean, and wasting time to let my brain re-coordinate. Happy stuff :) Listen here, don't you judge me. I have a life outside my blog! Okay okay, so moving on.

I'm going to recommend other places for you to go read today :)
"But WHYYY?!" you beg? Because I am human, and humans get tired, and
I'm tired of typing right now. I'll be back Friday, with an announcement that is more for
my own excitement than yours.
Maybe I'll see you there?! I hope!!

| because if you are reading my shenanigans, then you will LOVE this guys work.
| because I know you all enjoy eating.
| because she is a wonderful photog and I know you all like to stare down pretty pictures.
| because if you are here, you like to laugh about relatable topics, and this is relatable stuff :)
[Also I'd like to point out that blogspot thinks relatable is not a word. I'm pretty sure it is. Right?]

Anywho, hope that is enough to keep your little mittens tied over til Friday.
Come back!!!
<3, bex.

Things I've been up to...

What have you been up to?

Spelunking? Designing secure entries in underground tunnels for the President? Shredding documents that bear social security numbers? Restocking books at your Barnes & Noble job? Me neither. BUT HOLY SMOKES have I been on busy-overload. Lemme Es'plain....

I am training hard for some dirty, filthy, fun thing that's gonna happen in June. Therefore I am at the gym 5 days a week(phew). That in itself, takes up 2 hours of my day because of travel, changing, and showering time. Then I have class 4-5 days a week as well; this is from 10-11:30ish. I work part time from 1-5pm Mon-Fri, too. Plus I have a particular 2 hour(usually) bracket dedicated to Wednesday nights. Also Tuesday & Thursday night engagements that require preparation and study.
Where is my bracket for laundry?
Where do I fit in maintaining my health? My makeup? Cleaning my bathroom?

DON'T get me wrong here... I am in no way complaining! :)
I absolutely love my busy schedule.
I love the fact that it keeps my mind engaged and always revolving, anticipating the next event; stimulating creative parts of my brain that I haven't used in a while. That is sincerely priceless to me. It's the small things, right?

And so now I've added another task for myself. I am planning ... Ah-HEM... an Event. It's not a blog event, it's just something I need to do(that might be mildly HUGE), and something I've been meaning to do for a year now. You'll see pictures in about 2 months when it's over, but SHHH I can't tell you what it is. You understand, right? I'll show you pictures of other things, now though :) Ready? Me too!!

I went here between work & school the other week, to catch up on reading & some vitamin D. I've realized that whenever POSSIBLE that I have 10-30 minutes of free time, and it's somewhat sunny outside- I HAVE to take advantage, and sit outside for mental recovery from running around in whirlwinds. What a blessing :] Relaxation is such a gift.

Being crazy is also a gift :)

Recently.... I revived my love for all things orange(not counting soda, of course). Remember that Nickelodeon(oh hey, the Nick logo is orange, too right??) show back in the late 90's called "Kenan & Kel?" Remember how Kenan would entice Kel into doing some-mischievous-thing for him, by bribing him with orange soda?
Kenan: "WHO. LOVES. ORANGE. SODA?
KELLLLLLL Loves orange soda."

Kel: "I do, I do, I DO-OOOOOH!"

Guess who else had a serious orange soda addiction in her younger years? This dude. Check it out. I've been eating oranges like they're goin' outta style. And it doesn't fulfill my craving for them, either. Weird, huh?

You succulent little darling.
*le sigh*

ANYWHO. That's what I've been up to. Enjoying life :)
Now tell me about your recent enjoyments/disappointments & we'll figure out how to either make them better, or how to get you to visit me so we can have an adventure for me to share with all our friends :)

xoxo, bex

How College Sucks Your Life Away & Other Highlights

I got a parking ticket last week.
And I thought, in my rage, "I won't stand for this! This is highway robbery! They can't get away with this!"

And so the plan was to tap dance on their Security Administrator's desk until my justice was served. But you have to turn in your "appeal"(What is this? The real 'People's Court' of Judge Judy!?) 5 days after the initial 'infraction' was recorded. Which means that I missed the deadline. (Warning! Sarcasm!)Oh well, I guess next time I'll decide that $25 is worth less than not being able to find a legitimate spot, when I'm almost late for class. OH WAIT. I WASN'T BREAKING ANY RULES. And now I will justify myself publicly, to get this off my chest, so that I don't break out in Shingles, from stressing over it... again.(run on sentence much?) And then I will depart, cause I'm seriously supposed to be working on my Dreamweaver project. Much love, have a great week!! I've got Starbucks-flavored-content for Friday!
xoxo, bex.
Ready? I'm excited to show you.See??????
NOTICE: 1.) NO blocking of the parking space in front of my Jeep.
2.) NO parking over striped lines on the ground.

NOTICE: 1.) TONS of space- at least 25ft- between me and the car behind.
2.) NO PAINTED CURB. No Red, No Yellow, NO NOTHING.

Tuesday + Friday = Thursday. HA!

Oh wow, sorry everyone. APPARENTLY my brain is behind on what day it is. And I totally blanked that Tuesday even happened. But I am not going to let you down(totally). I've got quite a few pictures to share with you. And yes, this will be fun. I'm gonna tell you about my week :) And this doubles as Friday's post too(don't whine- no one likes a whiner) just FYI. NO, that is NOT called cheating. Ok, so maybe it is. Onward! :)

First things first, and that means food.
Last Saturday I made muffins. And I made quite a few. And I made them from a box (no laughing, Hoolia!). I definitely don't find plain muffin mix exciting, so I added my own extras as usual. These WERE destined to be just (blah)Oat Bran muffins. UNTIL I added molasses and cinnamon and chocolate chips.
Oh, yes I did.
NEXT UP!
Basic blueberry(oops, no fun inside extras), with a toasty marshmallow on top.
I kinda folded the fruit in the mixture a little too delicately...so you can't really see the blueberry color....at all. Anywho, they were scrumptious. I'm so sad you missed out ;}

Then hell froze over. And I wore my hair curly. Really, tho. It's not too curly, it's more of a pathetic wave. You know when Napoleon Dynamite waves at his date at the prom, and she ignores him? That's the kind of pity-feeling I give myself, when I try to scrunch my hair with curling mousse, and it just falls like this. Not too terrible, I guess... if you like that whole "rejected" feeling. :P

And lastly...
I drove down to a little inlet area in my community to watch the sunset, because the day was clear and my brain was not. So I wanted to share that moment with my blog-babies. That's you. Sorry, you're probably not a baby. I'm just slightly callous-slash-crabby about the 2 sorta-sunny days we had, now that it's POURING rain again.
*le sigh*
Who's not surprised? [raises hand.]

pee, es: This weekend I'm going out of town and I'm going to have FUN DARNIT! :]
pee, es, es: Speaking of clearing my mind at the waterfront... I have a sweet treat for you next Tuesday!
xoxo, bex
Please use your brains this weekend, kids. No unchaperoned dangerous activities, and if you're gonna get into trouble, don't forget to call me! *holla!*

First Day of School. Again.

I know you all want to hear about this... ;P

Monday, was my first day back to "School," aka "College." I had a constant adrenaline rush all morning 'cause I was so nervous, but it was sort of a good, swimming blur(so good, that I fell into a 2 hour coma when I got home around 5pm.). I met my quarter "quota" of ONE new friend per class(2 of them!) by Thursday. Let me elaborate...

-Met James, in my very first class for Systems Concepts(M/W/F), on the very first day. Tuesday, I had my Dreamweaver class(Tues/Thrs) and nervously flashed a grin at the girl who came and sat down next to me. So Wednesday back to my 1st class....but then James wasn't there ...And just WHO was I supposed to sit by?! Haha I kid. I made it through like an adult, taking notes in all my glory, while the teacher gave his lecture. And the lady sitting in front of me tactfully turned around to make sure I was paying attention halfway thru the class(Pfff).

Thursday, upon entering my Dreamweaver class again- there was 'nice girl' walking in too. So I threw my brave-face to her and asked "Are you gonna sit by me? I'm Bex[err..whatever my real name is]." She accepted my invitation. I am very pleased with my lack of conversation skills. HA!
-Oh! and her name is Courtney. Just to prove that she really exists.

Stresses? My books for both classes JUST came in today -_- So I'll be doing homework, write-ups, analysis([pluralized?? analyses?) over my WEEKEND, instead of playing, like all normal college-kids are supposed to ;)

Overall Analysis?(I'm over-using this word to prepare myself for 'Computer Concepts' assignments- ALL of them are titled "Unit analysis such-and-such.") ...I think I'll survive this after all :)

Prediction:I'll be cooped up in my 'weekend pants' every evening from 5-10 if you need me. Enjoy yourselves! Tell me about your adventures :) So I can vicariously live thru yours!!

xoxo, bex

Gym'n-It-Cricket! PART 1

Scene: bored at the gym(keep reading) jogging monotonously, staring out the ceiling-height windows onto a dark city, with a few sparks of life speeding around the freeways in the distance. Ok, I guess I'll keep my focus closer so I don't trip(again) and fall to my treadmill-conveyor-belt-induced-burn-on-the-face-death.

Me to myself(use your typical 'idiot' voice): "Hmm, there is a TV... I think I will let my mind wander, and get distracted by whatever's there." I am baffled by the crap TV show, 'Jersey Shore' that someone had left on. BAFFLED, guys.

Anyone else agree with me? I mean... they are obviously putting on a nice dramatic 'reality-tv" scharade for VH1's amusement, but really? Pure gross. Anyway, it got me to thinking of what kinds of other schmucks(hey I'm vividly aware that I'm the biggest schmuck in there) I am 'gym-ing it' with. I looked around to find 'Jersey Shore' type-esque gals, and didn't have to look long(I'd say far, but the gym is small). Granted this girl already had the natural tan down, but she broke my #1 rule of life... Leggings do NOT double as pants. Even if your legs are perfect. Shhh, there's no jealousy here, you're imagining that. YES, YOU ARE.

Found another Ginger. Now she's actually a human being, and by that I mean she acknowledges other people's presence. She usually waves at me when we catch glances at each other(or maybe it's just that we share a hair color??) across the gym-fodder, or if we bump into each other in the bathroom. Not much else to say about her tho, cause she doesn't give off any certain stereotype, except that she works her butt off on that stair-stepper(my arch enemy). My  admiration for her continued conquering of that machine = ever growing. I just don't have "it" in me for everyday use. Moving on...

The 50-year-old-woman. You don't know her. She keeps to herself, working out quietly with -sometimes without- her husband. He's quiet too. He doesn't do much, but poor thing is already skinny. He tries to stay out of the way and let his woman do her thing, while giving her support & encouragement. Every woman's mid-life dream :)

The 60-year-old-woman. You all know her. She waves. She sweats profusely. She is there all alone, kicking elliptical derrière!! And not to mention those dumb-bells! Grandma is on FIRE! Literally, someone make her stop- I see smoke trailing off her heels!!

The All-Arms Guy(thanks to You-Know-Who-You-Are, for the idea!). He curls, he curls and then he curls some more. He uses the free weights; he uses the tricep machine; he uses the floor for his personal push-up station; and then he's on the bar for pull-ups galore. Why isn't he working on that booty?? Just sayin...

.....To be Continued. :) Enjoy your weekend, loves.

breathe some nostalgia with me, people...

Countless
seconds and days till I see you next.
what is this feeling?
and will I regret it?
endless
hours I could spend right now
just to watch your mouth.
I'm beginning to learn...
nervous?
not anymore, you just opened a whole new world to me.

it's my duty to repay you now.
pure as the water
I overlook at this moment,
your arms around my waist are secure.
I long for nothing else.
no food can sustain a starving heart.
no water can quench how I miss  you.

too simple to sequence,
I even saw it coming,
but denied that truth to my heart's tremble.

and so now you hold me...
really nothing I've ever desired.
except I can't get it off my weary mind, now-
punishment, I guess
for not holding you tighter.

Dudes, I created this! YAY ME!

IT'S FRIDAY, ZOM-GOODNESS!!!
Help, HGTV is addicting! I can't help but want to write a letter to "Dear Genevieve" and tell her about my terrible non-existent living room that needs remodeled.

Have a good weekend folks, from me to you... sincerely,
THE bex :) xoxo!!

Nameless Poetism: Whose is this?!

I can't remember where I found this, so if anyone has seen it before, let me know! I want to give credit, where credit is due! :) Thanks...

Postcard From a Lost Artist

She will be known as the Michelangelo
of the second graders, of the bittersweet
chocolate or lover, both too hard for her
mouth.  The quest is never to carry

cobwebs, never to be the girl
with the untidy corners, behind her
ears--spiders, but what she sees
are the unfinished paintings

on the right side of her brain,
this is how she carries yesterdays,
how she moves forward while still remembering
the scrapbook of wildflowers.  The orchestra

is more than a map of Maine, more than
the red-winged blackbirds(one of the few birds
she can tell by ear).  But what can she paint
today?   She will be the Michelangelo

of the madronas, the human
god who touched the clouds by finding a field
tall enough. The sky,
the color of stillness. The forest,

someone's lost childhood
with all those trees for climbing.

I Am... The Out Of Towner

The weekend before last I went to Port Angeles, to visit a friend who is gettin' hitched in January. Of whose wedding, I just so happened to be included! Can you say P-A-R-T-Y?
Anywho... I drove out(on the windiest day of the year, I'm sure) to Ediz Hook, which is a large jette of non-connecting beach rock(& a 2-lane stretch of pavement) between this U. S. of A. and Good Ol' Canad-ia. The Coast Guard actually uses the end portion of the jette, which means you can only drive out til that point- it's STILL a ton of drive distance- maybe 2 miles!
So, it's FREEZING. And it's WINDY. And I'm only prepared with a sweatshirt/hood, and
a single pair of thin knitted gloves that you buy in a 3-pack at the dollar store. OH and trying to operate a slim-lined Nikon, with TINY buttons; therefore not wearing the gloves during blasts of this glacial tempest.

I found this beauty just waiting for it's close-up...
[sidenote: Can I please RANT about how much I LOVE the colors in this shot?! AND NO FILTER.]

Before I headed out tho, I thoroughly prepared for this(ha! Obviously.) and bought the BEST ginger bread cookie I've ever had in my life.
HUGE: bigger than my entire hand- which granted is small- but that's big for a cookie ;)
The cookie purchase was done at "The Buzz" my F.A.V.O.R.I.T.E. coffee place in the known-world-that-I've-explored-so-far! I hope to post more pictures soon of my Jette-Adventure, but this is all you get for now ;)

I braved the cold.
For about 10 minutes at a time.
IN THE BILLOWING GUSTS OF ARCTIC BREEZE THAT'S ABOUT ALL
MY LITTLE FRIGID FINGERS COULD HANDLE!!!
And it made my eyes cry!
I literally bent over to flip my hood back on, and I SWEAR 3 big teardrops fell STRAIGHT outta my eyes, without blinking at all. It was a bit....like Alaska...if I had ever been to Alaska-OK-MOVING-ONWARD!

Oh! Right. WHY I went to P. A. in the first place!
To buy a customized dress; to be dyed the color of my friends wedding.
Said color is... Burnt Orange. Terracotta to be exact!

Here's the dress ON:
[Yeah, I totally have that body, so it fits exactly like this... uhhh.. what? I heard something, over there...]

Here's the dress on the hanger:
Good thing you saw it ON, first right?
Ha! I know it looks pathetic just hanging there.
And so now it's being dyed "Terracotta." We shall see. I'm SUPER excited to see how it turns out!
Dancing.
Now that's something I'm actually scared of.
Friends say I will master the dance floor, and I'm fully preparing to
humiliate myself rock out to the following songs:
The Underdog- Spoon
Poison- Bell Biv Divoe
(YESSSSSSSSSSS! Watch out now!)
Anything else you suggest, that I request??
ANSWERS NOW... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnd GO!

Have a great weekend kitties!
You better be safe, and stay alive to be in Reading Attendance next
Tuesday Treat Day, for a SPECIAL GUEST POST!!!

Snow Days!

Guess where I am!?

AT HOME! IN BED! ALL TOASTY & WARM!

It snowed like crazy yesterday, and so today I am at home avoiding the masses of traffic that are piled up everywhere. NOT ONLY did it snow, but the temp dropped and iced everything over. Too bad we live in the wettest part of the state!

No one in this Peninsula area knows how to drive properly in these conditions, therefore this is what happens...
People park their cars along the side of the roads, IN MY WAY, because they didn't think it was a bad idea to take a joyride during a snowstorm, last night. Or because they didn't THINK. And I'm not just being vent-y because I've been out in it, driving my parents around with my 4wheel-drive, but HONESTLY these are people trying to rush to the mall who just are in the way; not the good people who are just trying to get home to make dinner for their families. Don't even get me started on the story regarding my 2 hour trip from Wal-Mart to home, WHICH IS LESS THAN 3 miles MIGHT-I-ADD.
ALSO another crazy thing I saw (that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of, because I'm a safe driver ;)) ...was a school bus stopped and parked on the right side of the highway because it couldn't make it up the hill. Kinda sad- those school buses were picking up stranded people on the roads...then the bus got stuck... is that IRONY?

Anywho here's some more snow pictures :)

Here's my Tawny girl in the snow. I was the last to leave work yesterday. :) This was just at 1:30pm....!

And this is the inside of my jeep, looking out to my windshield. I had to get back out carefully and scrape the windows off with a FLIP FLOP I happened to have in the very back of my Jeep, HAH!
Ingenious? I think so.

Please be safe out there, you monsters!!!

Sick! Oh, the Tuesday TERROR!

Dove-faces, I have been sickly. Twice in 2 weeks!
I know, it's tragic. Please don't cry for me, I'm on my SECOND upswing.

But my reason for writing about it, is that I don't understand people who are NOT cleanly.
I mean honestly, it's not hard to wash your hands more than twice a day. It's not hard to cough into the crick of your ELBOW, instead of the palm of your hand. It's also very polite to do so. And Grandma, every time I cough is not an invite for you to tell me for the 19th time today to USE YOUR THROAT SPRAY.
I love you grandma.

Last Tuesday I came into work late, say 11-ish AM; TO KEEP FROM SPREADING IT. And Monday- I came in at 2PM; TO KEEP FROM SPREADING IT! And I'm caught up with all my work.
*shocker!*

Moral of the story: The world does not end, when you keep your germs to yourself.
SO DO IT.

I've been good. And I still got the sickness TWICE.
Needless to say, I treated myself to a cookie.
Maybe two.

CHECK OUT MY DELECTABLE APPLE BRAN MUFFINS I MADE LAST NIGHT:
Heavy on the cinnamon. Plus the cute decor.
Be kind this week, friends. We all need a little tenderness, as stated the late Frankie S.
<3
xoxo, bex

P.S. WHO WATCHED CONAN?!?!?!
OMGITWASSOFUNNY.
"Look at that Lunar Wobble!! HA! Just like the real thing!"
HA! Andy Reichter is such a good addition.
I thought Conan was gonna cry he was laughing so hard.

You're all James Dean fans, I know this..

You're welcome.
How can you not love this face?!
I have a feeling Brad Pitt got his look from someone else...
A whole new "I'm hot, but no need to show off" way to point to the gym.
ohhh me, oh my.
AND to finish it off! What a stud! :) Handsome in his ripe old age of 24.
You know he died at 24? Yeah, super sad. He would have aged gracefully.

Hence, my daily motto to those I love: DRIVE SAFE!!! Drive Defensively! :)

xoxo Red.

What are you going to do this weekend??

It's FRIDAY finally :) Again.
Rejoice! ...I SAY, REJOICE!!!!!!

If your town is supposed to be as awesome as MINE is this weekend, you'll be outside doing some sort of recreational activity. Of course, none of you will be nearly as cool as this guy:
Dude, I have those shorts.
Oh, Water skiing isn't your "thing" huh? Try this...
Yeah, that's James-freakin'-Dean... about to whoop you at Ping Pong!
Now this guy...
That's O.G.
HAHA! I guess I spoke too soon, here's a famous guy in his
pre-presidential candidacy.
Original Gangsta.
Hey, ya gotta get scholarships into College SOMEHOW... AMIRIGHT?!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
You could try tennis on-for-size. It's one of my favorite past times.
And Paul Newman's apparently.
No, really! Lookie, Doveface!

Alright, maybe he was a cheerleader too... but I mean, no one's judging YOU
for sitting here reading my blog all day! ;)

So maybe you're into the rougher things of life. Rifle Club, anyone?
These ladies look welcoming.
Dudes, look at Rhonda on the far right. She's mean-muggin' you, BAD.

I watched a Marx Brothers movie the other week with the Grandmother,
and they are SO FUNNY.
I don't have a photo of them being sporty, but if you're an
indoor-type-of-person-even-on-sunny-days(cough*HOMEBODY*cough)
then this photo is for you:

STOOGE! Well, of COURSE they're outside on this fine day.
As my dad is "that guy" who doesn't wear sunscreen out on the green, he also
is "that guy" to wear obnoxious plaid like Curly, here.
But it's sort-of acceptable at the driving range.
Right?
I HIGHLY encourage sunscreen, folks. All day, every day.
Go ahead, be THAT GUY who doesn't wear it. We'll see whose skin is riper than
30 year-old-leather when we're all 45!! NOT THIS GUY!
Even 8 SPF, with TANNING OIL built-in. Honestly, how lazy could you be, that you
don't appreciate a tan WHILE getting sun protection??
BTW: All caps, is a sarcastic tone, when you read this in your head :)

ONE MORE! I've always wanted to take up fencing. HAHAHA <3 Sofia.

So Doveface, whatever you decide to do this weekend, please be safe.
Don't break your faces(if you're me, that's ALL ya got going for ya), don't break any bones
and for the love of Havarti cheese DO NOT BLOW ANYTHING/ONE UP!
<3 xoxo please stay fun, too!!
