I walked in the rain today
I felt the rain so soft yet instant and bold against my face
I heard a waterfall so tender, on top of the open leaves,
under the spitting clouds...
The air so fresh, I even smelled cucumbers not yet picked from the earth
and I slipped on man's white paint
but I felt the cushion of soil catch my knee and palm.
Here lies nature, concealed. But it opens its hand to me, a peek...
